The Center Against Domestic Violence works toward a society free of violence and abuse. The Center leads the way by offering education and prevention programs and promoting the well-being and economic independence of survivors of abuse. The Center runs three full-service emergency domestic shelters and teaches thousands of teens about healthy relationships through the teen Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP).
EVER WONDER WHERE YOUR
GENEROUS DONATIONS GO?
MAKE SURE CHILDREN ARE PREPARED FOR THE SCHOOL DAY. SUPPLY SCHOOL MATERIALS - PENS, BOOKS, ETC. - FOR ONE SHELTERED CHILD.
PROVIDE A WARM WINTER COAT AND BOOTS FOR A CHILD MADE HOMELESS BY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.
FAMILIES COME TO THE SHELTERS EMPTY HANDED. THE EMERGENCY FOOD AND HOUSEHOLD SUPPLIES SUPPORT THEM UNTIL THEY CAN GET ON THEIR FEET. NO ONE SHOULD BE IN DANGER OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE BECAUSE THEY ARE HUNGRY.
